Trans Cascadia Excursions offers 1 day, 3 day, and 5 day trips, as well as custom tailored mountain bike adventures to meet your individual needs. We operate out of Washington’s Gifford Pinchot National Forest and Oregon’s Willamette National Forest. Some tours are intended specifically for more experienced riders, while many are great for those with little mountain biking experience. Each of our trips have detailed information to help you find the right one for you.

It all depends on the trip, but usually our trips range from intermediate to advanced. Riders should be comfortable riding a mix of ground conditions, soil, small rocks and roots, as well as varying steepness.
Trans-Cascadia will supply you with a two-person MSR tent and Thermarest camping pad. Campground fees included. You’ll still need to bring a sleeping bag rated for below freezing and your pillow. For those who want hotel amenities in the backcountry, Trans-Cascadia offers a luxury camp upgrade. The tent comes fully furnished with a full-size bed with a memory foam mattress, a nightstand, personal lighting and your own little room to get away. Trans-Cascadia requires a minimum of 6 to make this work and the upgrade is $1000 per person.

For cancellations prior to 60 days before departure, a $50 fee per person is retained and the remainder of your trip cost is refunded. For cancellations 60-31 days before departure, 50% of your trip fees are refunded. For cancellations 30 days or less before departure, no refunds. Trans Cascadia must adhere to their cancellation policy, no exceptions. Therefore, we strongly recommend that you purchase trip insurance to protect your investment, we recommend World Nomads. Trans Cascadia Excursions reserves the right to cancel any trip. Full refunds will be made in these instances. Trans Cascadia Excursions is not responsible for non-refundable airfare.
Trips require four guests to run, please do not book travel or flights until you have confirmed your departure with Trans Cascadia.
Food is provided only on our multi day trips. Trans-Cascadia partners with a number of Oregon’s Top Chefs to provide you with an incredible culinary experience throughout your trip. Carnivorous, vegetarian and vegan menus are available. Each morning you’ll wake up to a hot or cold breakfast of your choice. Lunch and snacks are prepared for you to take on your ride each day. After a good day of riding the bike, we’ll sit down by the table to eat a well-prepared meal with each other. The menu also includes beer, cocktails and non-alcoholic beverages to quench your thirst. We want to get this right, so please let us know what you’d like to see so we can make it happen.

Each of our different shuttles we offer has a different pick up point. Under our Trans Cascadia Excursions shuttle page, you will find a google map link to give you detailed directions to get you to the right location.
You can always book multiple days of shuttles, or if you’re wanting to book more then one shuttle a day, reach out to one of us at Trans Cascadia Excursions and we will get you set up with what we like to call our ‘mega shuttles’. We want to make sure that when you are finished with your first ride you have a smooth transition getting on your 2nd shuttle of the day…
Yes you can! Give us a call if you’re in the area and looking to hop on a shuttle that same day.
We do accept cash on the shuttle, but we don’t usually carry change, so having the exact amount is helpful.
